 JIBS Jeju Broadcasting, formerly known as Jeju International Free City Broadcasting, is a regional private broadcasting and TV company located in Jeju City, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, South Korea. It has gone through years of preparation for establishment and broadcasting, initially founded on April 10, 1994, launching demonstration broadcasting in the same year, starting test broadcasting for the public on December 7, 2001, and finally officially launching on May 31, 2002. The official establishment of JIBS marks that SBS Network has completed the full coverage of national TV and AM broadcasting in South Korea, fully opening the national network. The platform focuses on Jeju local news, cultural tourism information, island characteristic programs and livelihood service content, while broadcasting SBS high-quality programs to serve local people and tourists in Jeju.
