The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA), affiliated with the Ministry of Environment of South Korea, is the national official meteorological authority headquartered in Dongjak-gu, Seoul. It is mainly responsible for all-round meteorological observation, climate monitoring, weather analysis and disaster early warning across land, sea and air. Dedicated to preventing and mitigating meteorological disasters such as typhoons, rainstorms, high temperatures and cold waves, it effectively protects people’s lives and property.
